I am curious to hear your take on this.
Both my big kids (5, 7) have terrible teeth. Prob mostly genetic but I would love to do everything in my power to prevent any future work if I can.
they hate taking the tabs, but I insist bec I think they help? am I forcing them for nothing?
a very reputable told me that fluoride gets a lot of negative press, but that its not true.

all I know is that when I got them on the advice of my dr., the kids thought they were candies and overdosed on them one Friday (always on Fridays, no?). it was then that I discovered that a high dose can be dangerous for your heart. I dumped them then and there.

Fluoride really does help, also fluoride treatments at the dentist. You could see about having their teeth sealed, and since they are so susceptible to cavities, limit their sugar and make them brush immediately afterwards. Water piks are great, but need supervision or your whole bathroom will bet sprayed.
