Looking for some inspiration for healthy dinner. No carbs and no sugar.

Tonight is cauliflower rice and meatballs and veggie soup

I just started trying to eat like this last year.

Grilled chicken cutlets and grilled vegetables (I like sliced peppers, onions, zucchini)

Scrambled eggs with farmer cheese and spices (onion powder, garlic powder) and stir-fried mushrooms or other vegetable on the side / frittata / omelette

Salmon and baked squash fries (seasoned with just a little olive oil and sea salt)

zucchini lasagna

burgers with salad, sliced tomato and onion

crock pot chicken--quartered chicken in crock pot with onions, zucchini and sweet potato or squash and spices; let cook several hours

1 piece of sandwich steak, grilled, with salad or grilled vegetables

tuna filled pepper

broccoli soup with cheese

vegetable soup with small pieces of pepper steak cooked in, for a full meal

homemade black bean burgers

other snacks / sides:
cauliflower popcorn
pistachios / other nuts
the inside of vegetable strudel recipe from kosher.com

When this thread started in 2011, a healthy wholesome rounded meal included protein, vegetable and gasp! carbs. Has it come to the point that serving my growing children such meals is no longer considered healthy?

Np! This is the recipe I like, although it is a "cheat" bec. it has bread crumbs.

If your diet doesn't allow for any cheats, I would totally try it just skipping the bread crumbs, or subbing more ground nuts. I like the recipe bec. I think baking the beans first keeps the burgers from getting mushy

I'm sure you can also leave out the feta cheese, although I actually found it made the burgers taste more fleishigs (with some imagination)
