HELP! I Can't Sleep-Severe Toothache!

I cant sleep anymore, my wisdom tooth is killing me. I took 4 motrins about 1/2 hour ago. Any other ideas to stop the pain? I have to get all my wisdom teeth taken out. Sad

Rinse mouth with vodka or apply it with a cotton swab to the teeth and gums.

you should call and get a prescription for something stronger, like Perkiset.
you should not be in so much pain.

Maybe try tylenol codiene (my dentist advised me that when I had severe toothache) I feel your pain though, as I have had many sleepless nights from toothache.

I had a HORRIBLE sinus infection and the first symptom was a horrible toothache but I knew it couldnt really be my teeth because I JUST spent a ton of time at the dentist getting a root canal and crown on the OTHER SIDE of my mouth.

Thanks for your help. I called my dentist for a prescription. He is giving me tylenol with codeine. I cant take percosset bec. I get really woozy on it and I cant function (I've taken it after c sections!).

you may need an x-ray to make sure you don't have an infection and might need antibiotics.

Oh and I starting taking augmentin in case of infection!
