I guess I'll do my grocery shopping leisurely and then I have a wedding at night but otherwise, no......I'm not off Friday; if I was, I'd go somewhere!

Same with me Sad and I forgot to ask for Thursday off!
I'll just try and work later so I can finish my projects and hopefully clear my load for Thursday.

On legal holidays, my heimisha clients go in to work and because it’s quiet, they call me and make me nuts. Looking forward to another lovely holiday, tra la la.

all my siblings go to my parents house and we eat a big turkey dinner. (not specifically for thanksgiving, but we all have off, and we get turkey this time of year, and its a nice excuse for us to all get together)

my grandparents felt strongly about keeping thanksgiving. It is an American holiday and they as survivors , appreciated America, and wanted to keep that tradition. We kept doing it, but more as an excuse to get together than actually to celebrate thanksgiving.
