yes they are from chocolate charm Smile my parents ordered them as their gift and got them put on sticks. the gingerbread cookies were a gift from my ILs and we wrapped them up as pecklach. they were from richmans.

if you want recipes, they are all typed up and I can post them too. Smile

this is a pic from my other ds' upsherin of the scissors.

By my sons upsherin (and later did it for our class chanukah party) I bought a chocolate mold in shape of a picture frame, and I put in a picture of my son & wrapped in clear paper and ribbons.
some ppl use it as seating card

Wow!! how long did it take you to bake!! yes, please post or pm me recipes.

a candy bar is always fun and looks great.
if you can get (Large) martinini glasses and filll those, even each container a diff color jelly bean looks really great.

if not, any plastic container will do. when I was in brooklyn I picked up great square plastic containers (4 for $3) and they looked really cute.

kliens sells the 3 gallons, (quite cheap 26 for 3 gallons) and put out cones, syrups and diff toppings and let guests help themselves.

Go to wilton.com & click on dicussion forum, then on Life's celebrations & do a search for school bus cake. People there may have one.

Mommyabc123 - I love what you made & I've made most of those b4. Thanks for the ideas. In a year from today DS is having his upshern & I'm starting to collect ideas.

Hi Realeez, I know it's been a very long time since you posted the pictures of the things you made for your son's upsherin. My son's upsherin is coming up (1 week after I give birth, 2 weeks after Pesach!) and I'm collecting ideas so I was searching through the site and found this. Would you be able to give me recipes for
Cinnamon Cookies
Cookie dough brownie
Devil Dogs and
Chocolate Truffles?
It looks like a former name you used may have been Mommyabc123?

Thanks!!
