Iv'e watched a lot of episodes of welcome back koter on YouTube.
I love them and it a great pick me up.

I did actually google him. Oddly, in the Epstein persona (modeled after Chico Marx) it was his mother who was supposed to be the Jew, his father Cuban. (Speaking of Jewish-sounding names, how about Laurence Hilton-Jacobs?)

Yup. Freddie Boom Boom himself.

After all these years, I have to say, I identify most with Kotter these days. (You should hear me krechtz in the mornings....)
