Sunday is the 5th of Kislev and my Jewish birthday.
As my birthday approached, I was thinking of what to take on...should I add Shir Shel Yom in the davening each day...should I add more Tehillim....
And then I attended Rabbi Yossie Paltiel's Rosh Chodes Farbrengen at my shul on Rosh Chodesh Kislev, where he said - less is more. Davening less, but more pirush hamilos. Less hiddurim but more feeling.
So - that's my hachlota this year. More ruchnius. (And, of course, more davening and tehillim, when I can.)
I would like to bentch you all with enough time & energy, and the ruchnius endeavors to fill them up!

hatzlacha raba choc. and thank you and happy birthday
it helps if your hachlata is more specific than "more ruchnius" so you know whether or not you are doing it!
