I'm looking for a delicious CC cookie recipe without oatmeal or any other funny stuff in it. Tia!

Combine:
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
Set aside.
Cream:
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
Add:
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Mix well
Add flour mixture
Stir in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.

This is our fail proof "go-to" recipe.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 sticks margarine
1 ½ c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 t vanilla
2 eggs
3 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
12 oz. chocolate chips.
Cream margarine and sugars. Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
Bake at 350° for 13 minutes (take it out even if it looks raw)

I usually use stick margarine but I once used tub margarine and didn't see a major difference.

This is our current favorite...
1 1/3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 tablespoons honey
1 egg, beaten
1 cup chocolate chips
Mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
Mix sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, margarine, and honey. Beat all ingredients together.
Add egg mix. Add flour mix. Blend.
Add chocolate chips and blend.
Bake on 400 for 7-9 minutes (not longer!)

Yes, I always use smart balance tubs and it comes out delicious.

I made September June's recipe. Was yum but I was able to taste the salt and baking powder. Will put less than a tsp next time.
