Say today Lamenatzeach al Ayeles Hashachar - Tehillim 22 with kavanna (concentration and intent), and mention the zechus of Mordechai and Esther. Afterwards you daven with kavanna for what you want to ask Hashem for. It's only for today - Taanis Esther.
This segula is from Sefer Kav Hayashar.
I heard it from inside tonight - so the info is "updated" (if you can say that about a sefer a few hundred years old Smile) from what I wrote previously.

I looked with dh last night and it doesn't say anything about only 1 thing. It says if you need something, but doesn't say choose only one. I think it's an urban legend about this segula. (And who doesn't need lots of things?)

Of course. but there are times and places which give us a "head start" if you like. I feel it's like we don't have to work so hard to open the gates of Shamayim.

merelyme, Thank you for posting the pasuk.. It made it easier for me to read how you made each line a sentence with space. You get zehus for my tefilla!

Bump - this is for today, and some say Shabbos (since TE is early this year). So you can do both.
May HKBH answer all our tefillos letovah.

Chazal actually say that this Perek is the tefillah that Esther said before she went into Achashveirosh unannounced. So maybe that is the connection to the day?

Amen. I was under the impression that one doesn't make personal bakashos on Shabbos?

I'm not a segula person- but saying tehillim- is always a good "segulah". Remember bilaam and he knew what time of day Hashem would be using the middah of din and he wanted to curse bnei yisrael during that time? so too there are times during the day and times during the year which may have more rachamim than others. It doesn't mean you don't have to work hard with your tefillos, but perhaps it's more likely to be accepted b
