Kollel has on sale 4 x 100 of the 9 inch plastic plates for $15. Is that how much it normally goes on sale for? I think I remember it being much cheaper.

TIA

I don't remember the 9" plates being cheaper. There are two things to take into consideration. The company (which is the quality) and how many plates are inside. Pactiv is a good company, but there are only 100 plates in there as opposed to 125. If you saw it cheaper, it was probably a different company.

I know. It's often 5 even BUT when the case of 4 goes on sale, it's always cheaper. I think I am remember $10 but it's possible it was a few years ago Pesach. LOL

I don't buy it that often. But if it's cheap, it does make my life easier.

When it was $10, they sold the Kitchen Collection Co., then later the Diner company plates. They were really junky. When you carried the plate with food, it would bend and all the food would land on the floor.

Probably true but I don't use it that much for supper food. More for a quick sandwich, disposable cutting board etc... It doesn't need to be great quality for what I need it for.

For sandwiches, I use paper plates. Those are $1.50 a pack.

I don't like those because it's REALLY flimsy. Have to use a few and they still flip and flap if you don't hold it with two hands. Plus as a disposable cutting board it doesn't work.

My pleasure! I went yesterday and did not get them. But I will be in that area again on Monday, so I probably will get it then.

If you care about the quality, find out which company it is. Dart, Pactiv, and Plastico are good companies.
