Not all jobless people are lazy, and not all highly successful people have put in way more effort than others that are not as successful. In the same vein, parents who have problem kids aren't more guilty of providing a negative environment.
The statement that bad relationships at home leads to problem kids, might be very true in some cases, but at the same time is very hurtful to those that have done their best.

I think it's quite arrogant to think that you can insure the outcome of your kids... you do your best, and sometimes the kids choose another derech...

and is no longer covering her hair,
