They're out of the oven, and my "testers" are all sampling them. They're getting rave reviews. I think I better get them to the freezer so they last till Yom Tov!

Few questions:
Do they freeze well? Do you serve them warm or room temp? KLP mustard, or any sauce? TIA

They freeze wonderfully, I like making them in muffin tin so I can just pull out what I need but I've made them in a regular pan as well and both freeze great. I serve them warm with mushroom sauce (Saute mushrooms and onions, add garlic, salt, water and a little potato starch mixed with water to thicken).

I've always frozen them with great success. They'd be great with mushroom sauce, but we just serve them plain and love them like that. I think next year I'm going to get myself a small ice cream scooper to scoop them out.

I made a very similar recipe in muffin tins. They had to be put straight in the freezer from the oven cuz they were being eaten faster than I could make them! Last year they froze beautifully.

Which recipe is the one that everyone ended up making that's getting the rave reviews - the first or the second?

If anyone has made this can you tell me if you freeze them cooked or raw?

I usually freeze it cooked too, though you probably could go either way since the potato mixture is already cooked.

If I don't have potato starch, will cornstarch or flour work?

Thanks! I did it both ways. Some cooked for YT this week and some raw for sukkos.

Sure. I use flour except for Pesach.
