What is Powdered Gelatin ? Kosher?

I have a recipe that calls for Powdered Gelatin. What do I use ? Is there a kosher brand ? Can I substitute something?

It can be kosher. Try the Carmel brand of unflavored gelatin -- I think they make it from a vegetable source, like agar agar or carrageenan.
