Eating home most meals this Shavuous (sp.??). Hub is not a big fan of potatoes or sauted veggies. Any ideas / recipes I can make beforehand and only need to rewarm?
TIA

kugels can be made in advance and rewarmed
broccoli
onion
mushroom
lukshen
apple
carrot
pumpkin
potato
mixed veggie
many can be made in mine so you can defrost as you need
orzo, cabbage and noodles also freeze and reheat nicely
vegetables are harder to freeze, how about doing different kinds of fresh salads,
there are so many varieties to make, some in advance that are marinated and others that you can put together before the meal

Kasha and quinoa are both healthy sides that freeze well, as is rice and fried rice.

I second the cabbage with noodles.
If your DH is a fan of pasta, you could also make dishes such as pasta salad, lukshen kugel etc...

Thank you everyone for your suggestions.
DH vetoed the pasta and cabbage so that's out. I think the pasta salad could work for one meal though. Anyone mind posting a recipe please?
I'd hate to spend YT in my tiny kitchen (with a huge possibility of warm weather) so the more I can make beforehand, the better.
