can I freeze an assembled (peeled, sliced apples w/ crumble on top) uncooked apple crisp/crumble? Will it be mushy when baked? apples were on sale this week.... TIA!

the apples are going to turn brown, its better if u bake it & then freeze it.

I freeze it baked and unbaked. Both come out great.

I freeze it raw -- works perfectly. Apples don't get brown.
