Shoes with insoles - bad for feet?

I got it wrong again! cant seem to get my kids shoes that fit!
I thought they will grow into their summer shoes but they are still too big. (I can fit 1.5 fingers in the back)
is it very bad for their feet to wear shoes with an insole

It may not be bad for their feet, but my kids do a lot of tripping if their shoes are too big or too small. We would chv"sh pay for it in dental bills fixing broken teeth. Most shoe stores (even the inexpensive ones) have someone to check the fit of the shoes. It is worth it to get shoes that fit.
