Does anyone have any good ideas for a baby girl Hebrew name meaning "blessing" or "gift" or some variation on that? I like more modern Hebrew/Israeli names. NOT Bracha or the like.

We named our girl Bracha which is exactly what a blessing is. Her english name is Grace.

edit:

Oh I didn't realize before that you didn't want Bracha.

Similar but not quite the same: we just named our baby girl Eliana which means "Hashem has answered me". After several years of IF and recurrent pregnancy loss - He answered our tefillos!

I have never heard of this as a name before. Do you actual know any girl with that name?

I thought of matanya but I believe that that is a boy's name.

There's a possuk about Yael that has double "blessing" - it mentions the word bracha twice in relation to her:
תבורך מנשים יעל, מנשים באוהל תבורך
So the name Yael can be tied in with blessing.

Matanya is technically a boy's name, but it is not actually an official name anywhere. We used it for my daughter's middle name--our rav said it was fine.

I actually don't know anyone with the name Doron Smile. On shemli it says its a unisex name that's why I wrote it.

Isn't Shemli "my name"?

Dora is gift, but it's a Ladino name.

I assume "Shemli" is a website devoted to Hebrew names?
