My child has multiple health issues, and we are at the pediatrician on average once a week. Our doctor is unusually kind and caring, even giving us his personal email address and cell phone number to be used when needed. He is one of the Drs. at Dr. Shanik, which is a huge practice, but he knows us personally and always calls me back himself when I have a question, instead of giving a message through the nurse.
I'd like to buy him a gift as a token of appreciation for all he does. I suggested a box of expensive chocolates, but DH wants to get something more. Obviously whatever I give will be accompanied by a personal note. What can I give that is useful and meaningful, but still an appropriate gift for a Dr.?
