I recently moved to montreal, and am well qualified, however, I cannot find a job because my french knowledge is minimal! Anyone from montreal that knows of an english speaking job? or job idea from my house?

It would be easier if you would tell us what field you are in. It is possible (although difficult) to find work in Montreal with minimal French, but not in all fields. Most professional associations (nurses, social workers etc) require that you at least pass a French oral and written exam that proves that you can communicate effectively with clients and provide effective client service in the official language of the province.
To work in a retail store you will need to speak French. If you want to sell something from your basement in your neighbourhood only to frum people, you could probably get away with speaking only English.
Would you consider taking a French course? You will pick up some French just from living there, but if you make a concerted effort to take a course and use the language, you will be far ahead of the game.

You may want to try organizations such as COHO or Ometz (ometz.ca). Since they work alot with the Jewish community, they may have leads for jobs that don't require French.
