I don't often grill meat and chicken but thought I'd try because its so fast and I didn't have too much time to cook for shabbos.
So I grilled some thin meat steaks..but maybe over did it. The top looks a bit dry but the under side and middle when cut seem ok. How do I know when its done? (I flipped it during as well)
Do I need to make a sauce to pour on top when serving? I marinated it in wine with olive oil, onion and garlic powder before grilling.
I grilled chicken as well. One batch with soy sauce, olive oil, onion, garlic powder and another with olive oil onion, garlic, parsley. I think I also over did these!
Any help appreciated, thanks!

grilled food is best served fresh imo. not such a great shabbos food since it might dry out on the plata. I never put any sauce on grilled steak but you can if you want. (a mushroom sauce might go nicely) I cook my steak until a tiny tiny bit pink in the middle. Thats how I like it, it can be rare or well done. Better slightly underdone.
Chicken should be completely cooked.
