Hope this can help: Mix a spoonful of soup mix with a bit of water and put in large pan. cut up alot of onions and put some on bottem of pan, Place brisket on them. Spread lots of ketchup on the brisket( the acid in it breaks down/tenders the meat) and add rest of onions and garlic powder. Cook for long time 2hrs?? Try one hr on 350 then hr on low temp 225? covered tightly. Yumm
