Thank you raisin for your wonderful tip.

This was written in this thread in reference on how to strain the latke batter. I did it today and it was amazing. I had no leftovers and it wasn't soaking.
I'm writing this here, in a thread all its own, because I want to make sure raisin sees it and to give the tip to everybody else.
edited for my lousy grammar

aww thank you! I guess the many hours I spend every year making latkes go to some use.

I'm bumping this because I did it again and it works great. Why I made latkes already I don't know. I told my kids I was going to make it tonight, so I did , but chanuka doesn't really start until after 8:30 and it's only 6.
