Has anyone here used him?
I had a strange experience. I made an appointment for my daughter and it went really well but when we called to schedule a follow up appointment, he never returned our calls. I know it was the right number since we got his voicemail and at times his wife picked up and said she would give over the message.
I really want to bring my daughter back to him. I was ready to take her elsewhere at this point but she insists that she only wants to go to him since she started with him.
so for those that have used him. is this normal behavior for him? should I keep calling or just give up and convince her to go to someone else.

I know that is a very old post but can you tell us what happened? I am considering using him but this post makes me unsure.

That's a silly reason not to use someone IMNSHO. I know him well, he is tops in his field and very sought after.

why do you think he is tops? Have you used him? Is he your neighbor? I googled his name and it seems he has only been practicing for 5 yrs. so I would like to hear how he helped people.

He saved my marriage. He works on very specific goals with the client. With my husband's consent, Dr. Hollander texts me with a quick recap after every session. If I text him about issues over the week, he makes sure to address them with my huaband.

I don't know what you googled, but it's not accurate. He has been practicing for over 10 years. I know him very well personally and I have had very in depth pychological discussions with him and know a lot about the work that he does. I don't want to reveal more than that, but no - he is definitely not a neighbor.
You obviously shouldn't be taking only my word for it. But by the same token, you also shouldn't be voting against him just because one amother had some scheduling difficulties.
