I wonder which one. There are a bunch of actors/actresses dressed up as chassidim in black hats, turbans, pretieds .... they look pretty comical.

I imagine it's Blue Bloods. A casting call for Haredim was posted and sent around on Facebook.

It is Blue Blood.
Theres a sign saying that it is, and that anybody in the vicinity may be on camera, and if you don't want to be you should stay out of the area.
Some of us need to do our errands, and the trafffic is insane.

It was in front of Chase Bank.
I would assume that the many people watching the scene also did not notice the sign.

When is it supposed to last until? I have to go to work today in the area around 2 pm, will I be able to find parking anywhere near there?

I have no idea.
Someone told me that they saw them at 6 30 AM already...
I would assume that they'll still be there at 2.
These things usually take the whole day.(Sometimes 2 days)

According to the flyer, they're there Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Monday.

When I went to a rental place here in Israel to look for a wedding gown with my daughter, they were set up for filming a movie. I asked jokingly if I could be in it. They said yes! I was offered the role of a woman who dresses and looks all wrong, and then she gets a makeover. (No thanks!)

When I was a teen, we passed a crew filming as well on 13th avenue- no idea for what. But they had a female dressed up as a chassidish man- w/ a very fake streimel and her hair curled into payos. it looked ridiculous!

I love Blue Bloods and I can't wait to see the episode when it airs! I wanted to go be an extra, but my husband didn't think it would be a good idea. Oh well.

its so funny that Im seeing this here. Just last week friends of our was over and the husband told us that a man that he works with got a phone call apparently he knows someone working on the set of that show and they asked him where to buy shtreimels from. He told them a store in boro park (im not sure which one) and that they are very expensive so if they want they can use them for the show and then sell them back to him for a fraction of the price... he plans on selling them for a profit afterwards. so funny!

Omg skippy thanks for the pics! I love this!
But the people in the scenes don't exactly resemble the BP crowd!
