So ds has small sideburns and payos behind the ear too. He has fine hair and it's not curly really at all, so it's constantly coming out and in my dh's words "shluchy" looking.

I make them wet in the morning and it looks good for a while but an hour or two later, they are back to coming out from behind his ears. I have tried them cut thicker and thinner, shorter and longer. Nothing helped.

Dh wonders if there is a magic gel (I've tried a few and they weren't great).

I don't want something gloopy because his hair is thin, but is there something that you have used that works in a situation like this?

TIA

I would be hesitant to spray; he might breathe it. Ask the pharmacy person for very strong-hold hair gel in a tube or jar; there are many. This will improve as he grows, of course. Make sure you like the smell first; or try for unscented.

Rave (or any) mega hold hair spray! Spray onto your fingers first then style ds peyos. Works better than gels.

dolly, I tried gel (garnier) and spray (tresemme) and I was not happy with any of them. I spray on my hand or cover his face.

I use dippity do spray too and buy at my local pharmacy.
Spray a little as not to over wet it.

Dolly, I spray it onto my fingers, then massage it into his Peyos.

used all gels in the store and had the best luck with htis one: DEP Sport endurance style gell. marathon hold 11.

Payos hold all day..magic.
it is not a spray. I squirt a little bit on a comb and run it thru his payos.

ok, so I went to the pharmacy this morning and picked up garnier and rave spray. If they don't work, I guess I will shell out another couple bucks for the dippity do business. Does it make the hair hard or gloopy?

I also use the spray but it very hard to find. Would you know which stores in Boro Park have them?

I meant to write my local supermarket.
Super 13 definitely sells it.
