Dc is scheduled to have a minor outpatient surgical procedure done soon. Baruch Hashem, I know how blessed we are that it's minor and nothing close to what some families go through medically.
That said, I have previously had a child undergo (minor) surgery, and it was very traumatic for me. Even more so now that I'm in a job that brings me in daily contact with children who are permanently disabled due to surgeries gone bad. I know, it sounds like a terrible job for someone with anxiety. Anyway, I was hoping to hear some chizuk from other moms who have been there, to help me get through this without falling apart. Thanks.

If you have time and it's warm, take a walk, drink a relaxing herbal tea, and daven. I'm sure you've done all the research for the best shlichim, and now you can leave it where it's been all along, in Hashem's hands. Keep us posted.
