I just over 4 c. of flour left and we will be away next Shabbos, so I need to use it up this week. I already have challahs for Shabbos, we have muffins and popcorn cauliflower (2 adults 1 child). I need recommendations for dessert (many cakes call for 2c flour) and something else. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

So make 2 cakes with 2 c. flour each, and give one as a gift to someone. the doorman, your manicurist, your super. Bring it to work or give it to dh to bring to his work. Or make cupcakes and give them out to several people. Give them out to a gaggle of yeshiva bocherim--they'll eat anything!

Zaq--thanks for the tip, but I could possibly use another side dish. We don't have a doorman/manicurist etc. Don't really have a friend who wants more chometz.

Use it to make puff pastry dough, then use the dough for deli roll, spinach roll or baked apples.

I'm making homemade pizza this week. I use whole wheat but it comes out great with regular.
3 C flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 1/4 tsp dry yeast granules
1 C water

mix all well, then add 1 T oil (I use olive but you can use any)
let it rest, covered with a towel for 30 minutes. Stretch to fit pan and top with sauce, toppings and cheese
bake 10 minutes or so

You're meant to have 4 cups of wine, not flour Wink
