Just wondering as I am pretty much off potatoes and sometimes use tapioca starch and even though it should be KLP, I haven't seen any around here yet. I will probably make myself a cake with ground almonds and coconut but am wondering about using sweet potato starch.

Sorry, I haven't. It's not as starchy as a potato, so don't know how much starch you'll get.
But if you know someone going to Israel from Brooklyn, let me know and I'll try to send KLP tapioca starch.

Ooh, thanks for bumping that recipe. They might have the tapioca starch here but this is the first Pesach I have bought everything on my yishuv and the health food store is trying to get it for me here. My regular desserts are fine for Pesach as I eat that way all year round. I was thinking of something different though!
