My charoset:
One apple, one pear, a large handful of pecans, and a dash of wine.
Grind the pecans or chop small. Grate the fruits, mix with nuts, and add wine until it's as moist as you want. It will depend on how juicy the fruit is.
I never use measurements, I "eyeball" everything.
