Can you name some really FUNNY movies? One that elicits tons of belly-laughs? This is urgent! My cousin is staying at my house, she is going through a very very rough time and I'm hosting her for two weeks. She enjoys comedies and it would distract her from her misery. Not just any comedy, but those that really make you roll on the floor!
If there's a place to download from that'd work best.
Thanks all!

elkayed, yes for an adult, 38 years old
Thanks all for the titles; amother, have u watched them all? for example, white chicks is not a rolling on the floor comedy. Did u pick them off a list?
I prefer recommendations from people who have actually seen them and were indeed rolling on the floor....
For example, monster-in-law is rated comedy but I have yet to see the humor there. Some movies are just not done well, while others are. I'm looking for those that are. I got her Little Miss Sunshine and she said it was ok, funny enough, but wouldn't mind something funnier....

Its my own list I keep, yes I saw them all. I've kept a list ever since a friend of mine was in the hospital and needed some good humor to cheer up. Personally, from this list Meet the Fockers, Robin Williams Live on Broadway and Blue Collar Comedy Tour (or any by Bill Engvall) most fit the rolling on the floor bill.

I watched Meet the Fockers, and was unimpressed. To me, it is tasteless humor. OK, I guess we have different tastes.

I like silly movies. Anything made by the SNL people is funny - Coneheads, Stripes, etc. I also liked the Bill & Ted comedies and the Harold & Kumar. Old TV shows are also good like Third Rock from the Sun.

you have to remember that some humor is cultural. if a person is FFB they won't laugh so much at the humor because they won't get it.

Cars is hysterical too. the one from the 70's.
blue collor comdey is funny but its humor about thw american white trash. so you need to know a little about it to really laugh.

most jim carrey movies are really funny. liar liar and ace ventura pet detective and dumb and dumber

Yeah, those are great. I didn't really like Harold & Kumar, but LOVED Dude Where's My Car.

Nowadays, I rent TV shows a lot more than movies.
