I have been doing the no sugar no white flour diet for almost 2 years. Recently I started gaining about 3 lbs and I'm not happy!! What should I change? I have read that maybe I should drink less milk or eliminate dairy? I normally have oatmeal for breakfast and I read that maybe I shouldn't. Any help would be great!!

Likely you are just eating too much. Check your portion sizes.

Watching portion sizes. Should I switch milk to unsweetened almond milk?

Maybe you have an intolerance to all wheat? I was in the same situation and when I stopped all wheat, the bloat went down.

It's not about how much wheat you eat. If wheat doesn't agree with you, even the tiniest amount can cause problems such as bloating etc...

Maybe try writing down what you eat to pinpoint what is giving you this issue.

I agree with the posters above who said that if you're gaining weight, that means that you're consuming more calories than you are burning. You either need to consume fewer calories or burn more with physical activity. I honestly don't believe all the hype about gluten, dairy, or any of the other dieting fads out there today. If you have an intolerance or allergy, then that's one thing- but most of the time, weight gain is simple thermodymanics. The energy you take in by eating has to go somewhere. Either it gets used or stored.
To find out where your problem lies, try meticulously measuring and recoding everything you eat for a week (no cheating yourself), and entering it into a food tracking website such as www.supertracker.usda.gov. Also record physical activity there too. You may just discover what is setting you back! I wish you well!
