there are no mehadrin hotels.
there are 3 mehadrin restaurants.
Halleluka, place across from Dan Eilat (I think it's called Shipuday but don't remember for sure, and a pizza place (can't remember if it's bagel pizza bar or apple pizza?)

sometimes they run these trips were the hotel goes Meharin for a week or so. Watch the ad books for things in the summer.

we stayed at a hotel that had mehadrin chicken and green leaves but meat was not mehadrin - the Astral village (which is a simple no frills family friendly hotel - great value we loved our stay there). That was enough for us. Shipudei Hatikva I think is the place that ra_mom was talking about.
We seemed to see quite a few mehadrin places (we only eat meat mehadrin, we're fine with regular kosher dairy).

It's just crazy that there are hardly any mehadrin places to stay/eat in Eilat. Is demand by the mehadrin-eating crowd really so low that such businesses would not be profitable?

Yes Cafe Cafe is Mehadrin. Dr. Mom, we were in Eilat before Pesach and very impressed with how many mehadrin places we saw when we were out and about.

Sorry you had a bad experience, but we've eaten there several times over the years and always been satisfied.

CHECK before you eat at any Cafe Cafe. When we were there last year the one on the Tayelet wasn't even kosher.

There was a mehadrin Burgers Bar on the Tayelet.

The Cafe Cafe in Eilat just told me on the phone that it is NOT KOSHER.
http://www.rol.co.il/cafecafe/eilat-dan/

Haleluya (Do I call it Haleluka?) said its meat is under Rubin, Landau and Machpud.

Apple Pizza told me they have a few branches in Eilat, which are all Rabbanut Eilat Mehadrin. One is at the Ice Mall (a mall with an ice skating rink and other attractions).

I don't know if I'm going at all.

There is Ice Space (a whole building with ice structures), an underwater observatory where all kinds of fish are fed, a theme park called Ir Hamelachim with an adjacent large playground, you can rent various kinds of boats, there is a glass bottom boat tour, and a mall with 90 stores, etc.

You have to understand that we live in a mainly chiloni city, and my kids are used to seeing chilonim and how they dress. So that's not as much of an issue as it might be for other families. Also, although Eilat is considered chutz laaretz by many, DH holds by the poskim who say it's okay to travel to chul on a short trip if you plan to return to EY. I'm looking for something to do with young kids once kollel starts up again in Elul but school doesn't start yet then.

You are so right. I called and that is what they said. Thanks.
I don't really know how good Rabbanut Eilat Mehadrin is, but that's a separate question.

There is a seperate beach in Eilat. I haven't been but my parents have.
There is a lot of water sports, underwater observatory. Park Timna is right near Eilat and is an amazing nature reserve with tons of stuff for the whole family to do. The Ica Mall has some Kosher (I think Mehadrin places to eat) My parents say Ir Hamlachim is great. It's a great change of pace.
We were there erev Pesach and plenty of Dati and Chareidi people were there.
AFAIK Rabanut Eilat is an excellent hechsher. But I don't think you'd trust my word.

We stayed at the King Solomon and the hotel has a mashgiach at meals - he told my husband which of the foods we (based on what my husband told him) do and don't eat. As in - the cheeses on the top row are eidah, the bottom rabbanut.... he re-maasered all fruits and vegetables.

And if you go to Eilat, check out the dolphin reef - worth the whole trip just for that, imo!

KB, tell me more about the dolphin reef. That davka looked from the pictures like people in swimsuits in a sunny area.

There are a few options. You can go snorkeling with the dolphins if (tznius) and money aren't issues. But there is a floating thing sort of like a dock but it has cushions and you can just sit and watch the dolphins. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. They also have feeding sessions and the dolphins really come up close! I really enjoyed and felt it was worth every shekel.
