Didn't want to start a separate thread so adding onto the end of this one.

Will probably stay somewhere practical for families with self catering facilities but we would like to go out for Shabbas meals....is there anywhere mehadrin to go eat Shabbas meals? Do any of the hotels have a mehadrin hashgacha? Thanks

Your best bet is to call the hotels closest to where you are staying, and ask them. It's not so simple to find kosher mehadrin. It's also going to be very expensive to eat at a hotel on Shobbos, and the hotels only serve Fri night and then a lame meal on Sat. Not worth it.

We were in this situation and decided to make a one pot meal for each meal and it was nice. We had challah and pastries and desserts, chicken and veggies for the night, and meat and potatoes for the day. You need to bring just two pots, a few utensils, buy some disposable serving trays and plastic ware, and don't try to save the leftovers.

ETA - of course, you'll need to bring a cook plate and blech (or crock pot) if the zimmer doesn't provide it.

Except for organized groups around Chanuka and sometimes Thanksgiving for which the group organizer provides mehadrin catering, I don't think there are any mehadrin hotels in Eilat. There are mehadrin restaurants some of which may provide take out.
