Tuition for what?
Day care/ preschool tuition could lead to a Dependent Care Credit.
College tuition could lead to an Education Credit.

Depends on your income anywhere from 20% to 30% of 3000 for one child and 6000 for two or more children. Unless your income is too high and then it phases out. This is not a refundable credit and will only go against tax you owe.

I know this is old but if someone comes across this....
child care credit does not phase out. The minimum is 20% of $3k for the first and $6k for more.
NYS has a matching program, NJ & PA dont. I dont know if any other state does.
