What do you do about headboard?
We have each twin on its own metal frame with wheels. I want a headboard. should I get one and attach it to the wall? What do you do?

We don't have a headboard and I'm not bothered by it (our beds are up against a wall of windows so I feel that headboards would take away from that) sorry! Sad

I think 2 twins= queen size
I have a queen size headboard propped against the wall
I have the hardware to attach it to the wall, never got around to doing it

Amother, during niddah when you seperate the beds where does the headboard go? That's what I'm trying to figure out still

We have 2 twins with a headboard. Before we got married DH asked our rav and the answer was you can either attached it to one of the beds or to the wall behind, but not both beds.

2 twins definitely = a king for the sake of using a a headboard.

We have 2 extra-long twins, and when we put them together a king sheet fits perfectly.

We also have a headboard that is still in it's box unopened. The plan was to mount it to the wall, but that has yet to happen.

Beds are slightly pulled away from the headboard so that beds neither touch each other or the headboard. Our Rav said this is ok

Apparently 2 regular twins make a queen
2 extra large twins (what I have) make a king.

No headboard here, but I always assumed that if we did have a headboard, each bed would have it's own headboard. (I think there is someplace you can attach one to the metal frame.)

Thanks amother, I guess ill do that too except I feel that during the niddah period when my DH has more time to read in bed, his bed won't have any back support that way- pulling the beds apart so that neither touches the headboard.
Sounds worse than an uncomfortable wall.
Maybe ill just get more pillows :/

Dees mommy, the problem with that is most headboards give an extra couple inches away from the bed. so if each twin had its owns headboard when you pushed them together they would meet at the headboards and create a gap in the mattress. I think !? Maybe someone here got a perfectly sized headboard she can tell me about, or found a way to mount them off centered so they don't stick out on the inner side ..

I'm sorry to belabor this but a twin bed is 38 inches. A king bed is 76 inches. 38x2=76 (a queen is 60 inches)

We have 2 twins and no head board. I learned to read laying down once I got sick of the bed pushing away from the wall while I was leaning against it :/

We have twins, each with a headboard, that may have been designed to work either together or apart. When pushed together, the king sheets keep the mattresses fairly well in place.

I have seen nice decorative headboards covered in upholstery fabric or leather that you attach to the wall. This seems like the best option for a frum coulple. I'm not sure if it would help for reading because you would still want a pillow behind your lower back.
