So I started to look at reviews of various GPS products, and they all start off with "Is this a good product? Maybe, but now you can just use your smart-phone....etc"

But I don't have a smart-phone! So I'd appreciate anyone who has real life experience with some GPS product they do or don't like.

Preferably one that gets you up to the minute traffic info & advises how to re-route.

We always just get the cheapest gps we can and have had good experiences with both Garmin and Magellan. No experience with traffic updates, though, since we don't have any! Smile

It's funny that you are so pro the waze because we have had issues with it.

Well today we had issues connecting and we were told to make a right when there was no right to make. Also with a gps when you type in a name of a place it usually comes up correct, with waze twice we put in the name of destination and we were taken somewhere else.
