Abs looove this show... just recebtly started watching it... think its up to season 4 here in uk...it is so real and so sad some of them... I love sunday nights!!! :-)

The 4th series just finished in the uk and while good it's not as good as the earlier ones. They've exhausted the books and it feels slightly forced. It's still one of only 2 programs I watch atm.

kindle has the 2nd &3rd books for 1.99 each. they are fascinating to read and makes me thank full that I live in the era that I do

I love this show, but please be warned: Season 2, Episode 5 depicts a fairly graphic back-alley abortion scene. If I could do it over, I would watch every episode but that one. (I am a very sensitive person, and this was too much for me to handle. It left me a sobbing wreck.)

I love this series. The X-mas special last night gave another view of the horrors of the unwed mother-baby homes of the 50's. They first showed it in season 1, this time they really focused on it. If I knew how to make a poll I would ask-who is your favorite character? Hands down, mine is Chummy.
