You got it, I live in Brookhill. You should pretty much give up on finding a house here at this point in time. Sorry... Just in the last year prices have skyrocketed and there is nothing available.
However, the area is exploding and there are tons of new developments being built all around here as we speak. Prices are a lot higher than they used to be, but keep an eye out in the BP Weekly or call a real estate agent. If you can afford a new house, there are lots being built all around Brookhill.
Some of the developments and streets around me are The Villas, Twin Oaks, Tuscany Terrace, Apple Estates, Whispering Woods, Whispering Pines, Somerset, Belvedere, a new development on Brook Road, I forgot what it's called, and I just saw them clearing land on County Line not far from us, for a new development. And that's just some of them.
Each development has its quirks, but in general this area is chassidish, with some places being more open-minded and others less so.
If you can find a house in Brookhill grab it!
