Heyaaa

I moved to Israel a few months ago and still have not found a place that sells good meat. Everyone seems to inject water into the meat, rendering it rubbery. Is there a place to buy proper meat with AT LEAST rabbanut mehadrin but preferably better?
Also is there any place to buy meat that has dinner style cuts, such as round steaks or cube steaks?
TIA

For American style meat, Chofetz Chaim is the place. There is a location off of the Ben-Yehuda area (I think Aggripas, bot not sure) and maybe another one. It is owned by Americans, formerly butchers in Chicago. I believe they have a Rav Rubin hechsher.

I second Chofetz Chaim. It is on Agrippas, which is off of King George. I don't know the exact address, but it's pretty close to King George. I'm pretty sure they have steak style meat.

Chofetz Chaim is great for nice cuts, but for price call beefland for the next sale. They have a sale every couple of months where you buy a case of meat at a time but for much less.

I believe Chofetz Chaim is at Agrippas 8. It's the not the block that meets King George but the end of the one after that.

What about Haker? When we lived in Jerusalem, when we lived in Jerusalem that is where we shopped because you can get fresh meat there.

The meat I buy from Of Anash (Lubavitch) is not injected with water. They deliver every Tuesday to Yerushalayim.

I was also very unimpressed with Chofetz Chaim. Ridiculous prices for poor quality meat.
The Red Heifer was selling meat for a while - also pricey but better quality.
I have never ordered from Of Anash but have been told it is high quality, clean and inexpensive (relatively). Its in my plans - the day I am organized enough in advance;)

No Beefland is in Jerusalem. Its not a store only a meat sale. Call 02-651-1968. I'm not sure when the next sale is but if you call they can send you the price list and tell you when the next time they have it is and where.

I order over the phone. I call on Mondays and they deliver on Tuesdays. Let me know if you want their number.
