When I was single I used to get asked out by strangers often. Getting married was a hard transition for me in learning how to deal with attention for my looks. I'm not happy with my body, but I think I have a pretty face.

no - not really

but when made up could be decent

so I work hard at making myself up. It takes a lot of effort and I know there are people who don't have to do ANYTHING before they go outdoors and I'm jealous about that!

Yes, I am. I'm told I look 10 to 15 years younger than I actually am (even with no makeup, and a tichel on.)

I just say "I lucked out in the genetic lottery. My mom had young skin, too."

Being pretty makes the world nicer to you, it's definitely privilege. I don't let it define me, though. Without good middos, I'm nothing.
