I'm looking for something new to make with Ground beef.
So far I've made: Shepherd's Pie, Meatballs, Sloppy Joe's, Meatloaf - Those are my standard.
I don't have any Parsley or Corriander or any other fresh herbs at home for that matter.

Dried herbs and spices are perfectly adequate if you don't have fresh. What about something like koftes which are Middle Eastern meat patties using such spices as cumin, coriander, cardamom. After sauteing the patties, you can serve them with a simple tomato sauce made with finely chopped onion, salt, pepper and a little lemon juice. Serve them with rice. Different, but really tasty.

- stuffed peppers/courgettes--you can stretch meat with some rice.
- edja (sp?)--basically meat omelets that you fry into small rounds. Serve it room temp, and good for stuffing pitta.
- chilli
- meat brekas
- meat sauce for spag bolo, for topping on jacket potato
- meat kreplach/wonton
- mince kebabs
- keema curry (dry, with green peas, cubed potatoes)
- lasagna roll ups
- ma po tofu or aubergine

Maybe hamburgers? I use the recipe from the purple Spice and Spirit cookbook, substituting oatmeal for the matza meal and pan-frying rather than broiling. It calls for prepared ketchup and mustard, and maybe a bit of pepper, but I don't think any other herbs. If you'd like I write it for you.

I love stuffed aubergines with rice. theres a recipe in the spice and spirit. Its a bit dry though, so either add a bit more sauce then it says or google for a similar recipe.
