I am looking for a one piece dress that can be worn under a tunic or sweater instead of a skirt plus shell which adds bulk around the waist. I have seen some but they are generally thin, tight and short. I need it to be a nice fabric because it would be instead of a skirt and mid-calf length and not tight. Does such a thing exist? TIA.

Look for a tank dress of the right length at a regular store.
