I got myself a jar of pickles... And they're NOT good... Like soury... Unfresh... So thanks but no thanks for causing the cravings... I also made homemade pickle salad... Will letya know how that turns out!

nah ~ we've bought some duds ... too soft & mushy for a pickle ... what were they - they were in a large bottle with blue cover - not sealed proper & famous name from days of yore

If anyone likes dill pickles in a jar I bought a jar once was craving sweet pickles (For the UK amothers, Mrs Elswood style) but they were Gross with a big G.

Went to a jewish hotel with my family as a kid. While my father was making a bbq, and old hungarian lady came over and gave us a jar of pickles. I don't know what type they were but they were both garlicky and incredibly spicy- we couldn't eat more than a bite!
To this day, I wonder what on earth they were.....

We like Gus's pickles a lot. Or B and G New York Style Deli pickles.
I don't really love the other types of pickles...

#1 is gus' sour pickles. #2 is flams sour pickles. all others are much lower on the scale!

batampte garlic dill is my #1 favorite ... the only pickle I will eat
as far as flam's that's the one that was mushy & my kids ate 3 bottles before they confessed -
even if the flavour is good there should be somewhat of a crunch

I get Flams 4 gallon bucket. They are always crunchy-never mushy. But still prefer gus' as #1. Batampte are ok if I cant get flams, but when I order, I order flams.
