I need a nice but simple, pareve chanuka dinner menu. Want to invite my father in law over but dont have time or energy for fancy.
Thinking of maybe serving a soup and probably beignets for dessert, but that's not a complete dinner. Need a main course that looks nice, tastes good but takes very little time.

broil some salmon with a glaze for 10 min. and buy some nice crusty bread, set out olives and white wine. soup goes very nicely with this.

ditto to the broiled salmon terriyake sauce soysauce & garlic - you're done ... add some broccoli or other vegetable ... with your soup & bread you have a meal

Broiled salmon with broiled asparagus. Marinate asparagus in oil, spices and mustard and broil...Yum:)

I'm not much of a fish person, but if u can give me an idea of a good salmon recipe that is not too sweet (neither my fil or my husband is into sweet things), I can try it. I could just make fish sticks for the kids.
