So my delicious, yummy, severely autistic/hyperactive 5 yr old goes to a school in Flatbush. BH I'm very happy with the school. Trouble is, he doesnt sit still on the bus. Climbs out of the seatbelt, runs up & down the aisles. We had an amazing matron 'til now who managed him beautifully. New matron is totally unable to manage him. BH we were able to get approved for a bus para for him. Trouble is, WE CAN'T FIND ANYONE WILLING TO DO IT! It's not so easy; I dont' know anyone who lives in Wmsbg and works in Flatbush or vice versa. The pay isnt that exciting - $13 per trip (on the books). I'm getting desperate; the driver is at the end of his rope and it's only a matter of time before my son will be banned from the bus unless I find a para. The agency hasn't been able to find anyone for us either.
So if you know of ANYONE who is willing to do this - please let me know. The afternoon route is even more urgent than the morning route bc he behaves ok in the morning. It's from Nostrand Avenue between K & L, coming to Wmsbg, at 3:30 pm Mon - Thurs. (Fri is at 12 but I guess we can kinda waive that one, he's pretty well behaved at midday).
I'm willing to pay the metrocard fee or the BP bus fee for anyone who wants to do the job but doesnt live here & has to return home by bus/train. I'm that desperate!
So if you know anyone that can do either route - Wmsbg - Flatbush @ 8 am or Flatbush - Wmsbg @ 3:30 pm pls let me know!!!! I have a voicemail with all the details which I dont want to write out here (so not to get false hope from a bunch of missed calls from curious imamothers) but I'll give out to someone who really wants the details and might want to do it. If you KNOW OF ANYONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I'M SO DESPERATE!
