I want to make sushi, but I can't get it, so I was going to make my own. I googled it and it says what you need, but it's not clear on the amounts and types.

Do you mean that you can't get any rice vinegar, or you can't get the seasoned kind?

You can add sugar and salt to the plain kind.

Thanks! That's the one I found, but it doesn't say what kind of yeast.

you can use regular vinegar also. I used it when I made sushi and it came out really good still. seraph has a recipe for sushi rice on her blog that I used, she also says you can use any vinegar.

I see why the yeast is an issue ... it doesn't give appropriate measurements cause you don't know if it needs to be mixed with water or what ...
