Without opening up a whole debate about this, I was curious to know if there are any organized gemara classes for women in New York.

I strongly recommend Drisha. They have different levels from beginners to serious learners.
Having said that, the style of learning gemara differs quite a bit from, say, parshiyot or nach.
There's much more emphasis on chavruta than a group/lecture learning.

Thank you. Do you know if they give free classes at all? I checked out their website and it seems like they charge tuition.

When I went in '09 they sort of gave me a "pay what you can" deal. I don't think I paid for more than like a fifth of the tuition.
