What's the best way to clean wood floors? I have been using Bona Hardwood Cleaner with a swiffer mop. I'm not finding that it cleans very well. Any suggestions?

I use Murphy. I once washed my floors with vinegar. It stunk up the apt but the floors were very clean.

I use Bona. My dining room gets used only for shabbos and doesnt get that dirty.
I have heard of vinegar. People said that murphy can strip the shine. When you mop with vinegar, make sure the floor doesnt stay wet. A hardware floor cant tolerate being wet.

Maybe try Bona with a real mop. Swiffer isn't really for heavy cleaning.

I use Shaklee Basic H. I used to doubt it, but once all the standard chemicals started making me itch, I switched over and haven't looked back.
One bottle costs about $12 and is so concentrated that it lasts me for MONTHS. I use the concentrate to make floor cleaner, counter cleaner, and window cleaner.
No more itchies, and my house is just as clean as before. No smell, but worth that fact, when you consider that the smell in cleaning supplies is usually chemicals that harm a person...
