I don't use a program, I use the website www.howdoesshedoit.com. I create different categories and type up the recipes I want to save. I then plan the week's menu on Sunday and it gives me a grocery shopping list for the whole week. It's great!

I know someone who uses tastebook.com
they typed up all their recipes, with pictures, had it all printed into 2-3 books based on category. from what I understand it's a loose-leaf type book so you can order new pages (with new recipes) and put them into your already created book.
when I ask her for 1 recipe I love it cause she'll usually send me about 8. once she is on the site she is able to click the one I asked for and which ever other recipes she thinks I may enjoy
