Does anyone have a good recipe? I am looking to make a crock pot type of dinner using pot roast/stew meat. I want it to be a filling dinner (potatoes, vegetables, etc).

1 onion- diced
4 carrots peeled, cut in chunks
4 potatoes peeled, cut in chunks
squash (as many as you want) peeled, in chunks
sweet potatoes (1 or 2) peeled and cut in chunks
2 lbs beef chuck meat
saute onion in dutch oven. Add meat and veg.
add:
1/2 tsp salt
sprinkle black pepper
2 T ketchup
sprinkle paprika
3 tsp honey
at least 4 cups water (add more if you want it to be more soupy)
cook covered on low flame for 2 hours at least- it gets better the longer you cook it.
Enjoy. this recipe Is from my mom (don't know where she got it from)
